Saved by the Bell

Last night we had a birthday party for one of the girls here, Lara. The theme was Saved by the Bell, but for some reason we wore 80s attire. I got ready in my apartment with Cara, and we got so into it. I had her cut my rainbow brite tshirt, put on some leggings, and wore my nike hightops. Sadly my neighbors told me I looked pretty and should wear this stuff more often. Hmm. At that point, I was not about to say it was a joke/costume.
At the party, we watched episodes from the show, which has inspired me to buy them (along with Fresh Prince), drank milkshakes, and played a trivia game about the show, which ended up in a dance/singing competition of one of the songs on Saved by the Bell. I think we have lived here maybe too long :)

Uñas Lindas

Ok maybe they are not the most beautiful, but I think they are pretty funny. Johan's sister Wendy paints nails, and every time she does it, she comes up with some new random design to put on your nails. She cleaned up and painted my finger and toenails for 80 pesos. not bad at all. So in other words, I do not really care what she does, just as long as they are painted :). My nails painted like this makes me one step closer to being Dominicana.
